My name is Emily, but you can call me Em! I am a Registered Dietitian with a deep-rooted passion for proper nutrition and mental wellness, I am dedicated to helping individuals build balanced, sustainable relationships with food. My approach is grounded in compassion, evidence-based practices, and a belief that all bodies are deserving of nourishment and care.

I specialize in eating disorder recovery, intuitive eating, and body image work. I support clients by creating a safe, collaborative space where they can explore their unique food stories, challenge unhelpful patterns, and move toward healing and freedom. My mission is to help people reconnect with their bodies, honor their hunger, and find joy and peace in eating again.

I earned my bachelor's and master's degrees both in nutrition and dietetics and completed my dietetic internship through the University of Pittsburgh with a special focus in eating disorder and mental health nutrition care. My education and clinical experience have shaped a practice rooted in both science and empathy.

Outside of work, I enjoy weekend breakfast dates with my Husband, walking our 2 scruffy dogs through the park, playing cozy games, and spending time curled up with my cats. I believe that nourishment extends beyond the plate, and I aim to bring that holistic mindset to every session. I can't wait to work with you!

Emily can provide insurance-based telehealth nutrition services to patients in the following states: AZ, CA, CO, CT, MA, MD, MI, NJ, NY, TX, and VA.

How to Book with Emily

Starting nutrition counseling sessions with Emily is a simple two-step process:

1

Schedule an

initial consultation

This is a 60- or 90-minute session completed via a HIPAA-compliant video call.  This will allow Emily to get to know you better and what your goals are for nutrition therapy.

Intake forms will be emailed to you to complete, which will include providing insurance and payment information.

2

Attend follow-ups

This is either a 60-, 45- or 30-minute session completed via a HIPAA-compliant video call.

You and Emily will decide what works best for your needs - either weekly, bi-weekly, or monthly follow-ups.

Insurance and Self-Pay Clients

Many of Nutrition That Heals insurance based clients have their nutrition counseling sessions paid for entirely by their insurance coverage. For clients without insurance, or whose insurance does not cover nutrition counseling sessions, they can elect to self-pay.

Self-Pay Nutrition Counseling Rates

  • Initial 60-minute consult: $110

  • 30-minute follow up sessions: $60
